Forum posting guidelines
Be it known that all of your actions in these forums are governed by the following rules and regulations. Please read this BEFORE you post to avoid any negative repercussions.
Disclaimer
Moderators and administrators reserve the right to edit or delete any message that does not adhere to or comply with these guidelines. We also reserve the right to ban individuals who repeatedly violate them. If your thread is deleted you will be contacted via a Private Message if necessary.
To ensure that the forum guidelines are enforced the moderators have the ability to edit, move, rename or delete all content posted to the public forums, which includes but is not limited to Threads, Posts and Polls. Administrators have the ability to ban users that do not comply with these guidelines.
- Please do NOT spam. Do not advertise, promote or link to another website unless the information is completely relevant. Any ambiguity will be assumed to be against this rule.
- Any posts containing material in any way considered unsuitable for persons under age 18 will be deleted immediately and the user considered to be banned on a case-by-case basis.
- Flaming and Trolling will not be tolerated. For comprehensive definitions of these two terms, see their related Google searches.
- Any racist, sexist and other remarks towards a minority or specific group of people will be deleted and the member shall be summarily warned or banned. The internet is one world, colour or creed is not an issue here!
Utilizing the Private messaging system for abuse of threats is also frowned upon and action will be taken if the system is abused. - Thread subjects should be reasonably composed. One-word or undescriptive titles threads may often go ignored as there is nothing substantial leading members to them.
- Do not request code snippets or make other such similar requests. They will be ignored and repeat offenders will be dealt with in kind.
- Bug requests will be submitted with reasonable detail so the Devs can handle them quickly and efficiently. Please do not make the Devs scrounge for information from you. For more information on how to report bugs, see the bug report forum announcements.
- Posts should be directed to the appropriate forum. Posts will be moved and the move will be documented if a Moderator believes it to be necessary. Repeat offenders will be dealt with in kind.
